Princi Smallgoods has been in operation since 1979 in Perth, Western Australia, and this is a continuation of over 100 years experience in butchering and smallgoods production in Italy.

Michele Princi, the founder and Managing Director of the company, is ably supported by co-directors, Pino Princi, Pasquale Princi and Frank Vizzari. All are smallgoods experts with many years experience in production techniques.

Situated in new and modern premises in Malaga Western Australia, the company’s planning during construction has enabled the implementation of production flow, which is aimed at ensuring safe and hygienic practices.

In accordance with health regulations the company holds two licensed fermented products personnel. These licenses are issued to operators who pass the requirements set out by the National Food Authority and Health Department.

The company has also implemented a HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) Program. This program ensures control and documentation records of each phase of production. Their Quality Management System is a means of ensuring confidence in their products and services. In their quest for excellence, new technology and equipment is employed at their premises to further guarantee that the products maintain consistency in flavour and quality.

Many products are based on traditional recipes using selected meats and ingredients. Such lines include Prosciutto, Cacciatore sausages, Salamis of many varieties, Mortadella, Coppa and Pancetta.

Apart from the traditional Italian products the company makes many varieties of cooked hams and bacon and is conscious of the need to address the issues arising from modern society’s awareness of health and nutrition.
